After spending time with the Ringman side of the family we headed to Kalamazoo. This is what we did over the course of our visit.
When we got there the kids got to spend some good quality time with Uncle Aaron.
Uncle Aaron got quite a work out with his niece and nephew!
As soon as Grandpa got home from work Austin wanted to go out to the ponds to check out the fish.
Abigail wasn't to sure of her new boots and definitely wanted to take off her hat.
Austin enjoyed what little snow there was left
A little pink eskimo
Gotcha Grandma!
Once inside Grandma Great made us a special dinner of breaded pork chops and burnt flour gravy
I had to test the gravy, yum!
I approved and was stuffed at the end of dinner
I'm pretty sure Uncle Aaron hasn't played a game of tic tac toe quite like this one
And we all got a knitting lesson
On Wednesday my mom and I got to meet the newest addition to the family, Boston.
Isn't Braylin the cutest big sister?!?!
On Thursday we headed to my Aunt and Uncle's house to see their German Shorthair Pointer puppies.
We fell in love with the puppy who had a yellow ribbon tied to her collar.
In a week and a half she'll be traveling from Michigan and joining our family!
Our puppy is the one furthest to the left with the brown marking down her back
How cute is she? We are so excited for her arrival
Austin and Cloey had a blast with the puppies and each other
Oh my Austin!
Where was Abigail when all the puppy fun was going on? In the arms of my cousin TJ, she fell in love with him! And not so much the puppies.
Thursday morning we met The Cooper Family at the Children's Museum.
The kids had a blast on the bus
And cooking up some gourmet meals
Addisyne
Yum cookies
And some delicious pancakes
Avery
Astronaut Austin
Austin even made a new friend at the museum. Cute, isn't she?
Thursday afternoon my friend Sara and her boyfriend Joe traveled from the Detroit area to see us.
Once they arrived we headed to the bowling alley. Abigail took a short nap while we started bowling
Austin had a great score the first game
Once Abigail woke up, she joined us for the second game
She even beat Austin!
Once we were done bowling we headed home and had some visitors. Dylan and Austin are less than a month apart and always seem to remember each other.
Before we left Kalamazoo, Grandpa had to measure the kids on the wall to see how much they had grown since they were in Michigan last (September 2007). First it was Austin's turn.
Then it was Abigail's turn. She wasn't into it as much as Austin was.
Good thing Grandpa did it quick
Abigail grew quite a bit in 18 months
She was even taller at 24 months than Austin was at 22 months
We headed back to Grandma & Grandpa Ringman's house Friday night to prepare for our Saturday morning flight. We almost made it out of Michigan before the snow hit. Before our flight left for Houston we had to make a trip over to be de-iced. Leaving late caused us to miss our flight to Killeen, so the kids and I spent some quality time at the Houston airport before finally getting home. It was a great trip to Michigan. We've had a very busy week trying to get back into the swing of things.
On another note, Michael should be home at the end of the week. I think we're all looking forward to him being home!

Mom
What a wonderful trip. I am looking forward to seeing more pictures of your new puppy in the following weeks after her arrival. The kids will enjoy.
WOW!!! You were busy when you were in Michigan. Great pictures of all the fun things you did. Of course my favorite ones are of the puppies :) Or the pics of the kids climbing on their Uncle. Good to see everyone had fun.
P.S. I love that you take advantage of all of the great skills you have, setting up a wedsite where people can buy your bows, good for you, I hope you are successful!
Hey Andi- It was great to see all of you although it was a quick visit with you! Hope all is well with your new puppy.
