We found a friendly guest in Austin's pool yesterday! He couldn't get out of the pool, I had to drain it to get him out! Posted by Hello

Congratulations Emily & Andy!

Today is Emily's wedding day! I hope her day is wonderful!
I took a lot of pictures yesterday so i should have plenty of new ones to post this week. You can also find them in Austin's photo album. Austin and I are getting ready to go to Toys R Us to get him a Deluxe Jumperoo. It's one of those jumping things but it doesn't hook to a door way. The ones that hook to the door scare me! This one is just like an open top swing with the bouncing seat in the middle. When he has been in the "run about" (or exersaucer) lately he has been jumping up and down, so I think he will really like it. Other than that we don't have anything planned for the day. I will talk to everyone later!

Aren't his cheeks the cutest thing ever? I got so many compliments on how cute he was yesterday, can you believe that? Posted by Hello
Hello everyone! Austin and I got all of our errands done yesterday. We finally got license plates!!!
Austin is showing signs of crawling everyday. The last couple of days he's been staying up on his hands and knees for longer periods of time. He rocks back and forth and then does a belly flop! I tease him all the time that he looks like a beached whale! He's so funny! I don't think it will be long before he's on the go. I love it too now that he can giggle. Sometimes we spend 20 minutes on the floor just giggling at each other. Hearing him giggle makes me laugh and vice versa! Can you tell we have a lot of quality time at home with each other! But it's so much fun and I wouldn't change it for anything! Hope everyone had a good week, and we'll see everyone on the webcam this weekend!

Happy Birthday Jackson, Love Baby Austin Posted by Hello

Rainy Day

Happy Birthday Jackson!!! Well it's really starting to rain today. This is only the second time it's rained since we've been here. I think it really rains when it finally decides the earth is too dry down here in Texas. Not much is going on today, Ausitn and I are getting ready to run all of our errands. It's such a pain to lug him around when it's raining out. But we have to take advantage of the car when we get it! Talk to everyone later!

Great to hear everyone's voice

Well, it sounds like Jackson's birthday party was a lot of fun! It was great to hear everyone's voice and I'm glad you were all surprised to see the video we made! Someone will have to let me know who came the closest to pinning the tail on the donkey!! I don't have a lot of news to report tonight! I had better head to bed, we have to get up early tomorrow morning to take Michael to work so we can get all of our errands done during the day! Hopefully we can finally get some license plates for our car. We've been through 3 temporaries already and it is such a pain to get a pass to get on post. When we get the license plates (you have to have two on your vehicle in Texas, one on the front and one on the back) we will get a DOD sticker to put on our windshield. It makes it so much easier to get on post! I will talk to everyone soon!

What's new today

Hello everyone, we got the car back today! It looks great, like nothing ever happened! Not much is going on today. I made a roast in my crock pot yesterday for the first time and it actually turned out pretty good. The meat was a little spicy but that was from the marinade it came in. Next time I'll just get a plain roast and go from there. I even made potatoes and carrots too, aren't you proud of me Dad! I'm slowly learning to cook! Tonight I'm making Fettichini Alfredo, something I've never made before either! It should be very interesting! Everything else is going good, Austin is playing on the floor right now working his way around the living room. He has his basket of toys sprawled out every where and he can't decide which one to play with! I better get going, Austin just tipped over onto his belly! Talk to everyone soon!

PS- It was great to see and talk to you last night Aunt Jan!

Yet another picture of Austin eating his shoes! He tried to eat both pairs of his shoes today! Posted by Hello

For all of those people who think I have a shoe fetish (Mom & Dad), it looks like Austin has one too! Posted by Hello

New Friends!

I met some new people last night. Michael went to basic with a guy named Shawn and he got stationed here at Ft. Hood also. Shawn's wife's name is Jamie and they have a 3 month old son named Devon. We had a great time with them. We first went over to their house and then we went to Outback to eat. Jamie and I are a lot alike and we are planning on hanging out together sometime while the guys are at work. They are similar to us in a lot of ways, they only have one car too and this is the first time they have lived this far way from their family also, they're from St. Louis.  And I feel fortunate because I thought Michael missed a lot of Austin's first few month's but Shawn missed seeing Devon be born and the first couple month's of his life! But anyways, we have to get around and go to Target for a few things, I'll talk to everyone later!

Michael, Austin, and Andrea  Moving Day 7-1-04! Posted by Hello

Here's the front view, from this angle it doesn't look too bad! Posted by Hello

Here's my bang up of a job on the car! The guy who hit me was flying through the parking lot, I didn't even see him until after he hit me! The car is in the shop and the insurance said that we should have it back by Monday. We'll see, we all know how body shops work! I guess it only needs a new front bumper and a new turn signal! OOPS! Posted by Hello

Austin in the pool! Posted by Hello

Figuring this out~ I think!

Ok, I think I'm figuring this out! We'll see. Things in Texas are going good. We are finally starting to find our way around town and the base. The base is huge, but I've found more good things than bad about it.  My groceries definitely cost less but I think the mail is slower if I take it on post. Oh well, I'll learn everything sooner or later! I've included a picture of Austin in his swimming pool. I got warm sitting outside with him so I jumped in too! He loves to splash around in it! Talk to everyone soon!

First entry

Well this is a new experience for me. Libby told me about how to set up this website and do you think I can figure it out? I will eventually! I'll add more comments as I figure this out!
