Abigail's first birthday
Abigail started off her first birthday at the doctors office getting her 12 month check up. She weighed in at a whopping 18 lbs (10th percentile) and was 28 1/4 inches long (25th percentile). She still isn't big enough to turn her car seat around. She's got 2 more pounds to gain before she can turn around and look out the window. The way she's eating she might pack on the pounds by the time she goes back for her check up at 15 months. Today she received three shots along with a TB test. I have to take her back at the end of the week so the doctors office can read it.

Abigail,
Looks like you did a good job on your cake, too bad you aren't here. Grandpa would have made a cake with pink frosting and marshmallow elephants on it like he did for Mommy's first birthday. Of course we saved the recipe and Granpa make a cake with blue frosting and marshmallow elephants for Austin's first birthday....
Don't worry Grandpa will make you a elephant cake too, just may not be until your second birthday.

All of the pictures are adorable. I love the one of her sitting in her high chair looking and waiting for the cake to come. She has a look like "why am I sitting here with no shirt on?" I think if you let her eat all of the cake she might gain the 2 pounds a little faster!
