Austin rode a real pony for the first time on Saturday night at the Hillsdale fair! He loved it! It's kind of hard to see because I scanned the original picture, which is a polaroid! He still looks cute, especially in his Michigan sweatshirt...

Austin thought he needed to help Grandpa in the pond! He's becoming quite the copy cat lately!

Going for a ride

Austin and Jackson went for a ride, courtesy of me, in my new bicycle cart! Michael got it for me for my birthday! They loved it, not to mention that it gave me a great work out!

Fun at Grand Haven

Since we got to Grand Haven on Sunday night before Austin's surgery, we did a little sight seeing! We discovered that Austin does not like the lake yet, it was a little chilly, and that he really likes to watch the boats! Here's some pictures of our afternoon:

Austin's Surgery

Austin had his ear tube and adenoidectomy surgery today. Everything went great and he is now home resting in his own environment! He did great, he's such a trooper! I'm looking forward to the future hoping that this solves all of his problems he's had lately with ear infections and everything else! Here's some pictures of my great little guy!

Here's the little guy after just arriving at the hospital. He was in his sweats getting ready to change into his little hospital gown!

All changed into his gown and ready for surgery! This is the point where Mommy started to get really nervous! I knew he was in good hands and that everything was going to be fine! He was so brave, even when they wheeled him back to the operating room! He must get his braveness from his Daddy!

Taking a nap post surgery! It took me about an hour to finally get him settled down! He freaked out a little when he was coming out of anesthesia! We couldn't see him until he was up in his room, which meant that he had to spend 15-30 minutes in recovery by himself! He was so tired!

Eating jello! His meals consisted of jello and popsicles for the day!

Didn't you know that eating jello poops you out! He was so funny, he just fell back onto the bed when he'd had enough!

Austin got to come home tonight instead of staying at the hospital because he was doing so well! A bonus for me because I really didn't feel like staying the night at the hospital either! We'll see what tomorrow brings!

Oh, the facts on the surgery! His ears were full of puss: meaning that he had ear infections in both ears. And his adenoid was 75% blocked. Allowing him only 25% space to breath! Now that it's gone I hope it will help him to not only breath a little better, but help his taste buds! He definitely got his pickiness for food from me! Thanks for everyone's support!

Austin's trip to the zoo

We went to Binder Park Zoo for Grandma Richards company picnic. We had so much fun! Here's some pictures from our day there!

These are some of my favorites from the couple of weeks we had with Michael while he was here! Look for more tomorrow, I'm pooped and need to go to bed before my devil child wakes me up in the morning! "Devil Child" is Austin's new nickname, given to him by none other than his Daddy! You have to love him though, just look at that face!

Together again

We made it! Daddy came home to visit on Wednesday and will be here for a couple of weeks! It was quite an ordeal to pick him up at the airport but we finally made it together!

Since he's been home we've just been hanging out! We're going to do a lot of visiting today and this weekend is packed with activites! It should be a lot of fun!

Daddy's coming home this week

Austin's Daddy is coming home this week!!!! We are getting so excited that it's hard to contain ourselves! Thise week needs to go by fast so that we can see him. On another note...I have so much to do in so little time...

Baby Riley

This is the cutest picture of Baby Riley! She's getting so big! She's going to be 5 months old in a few days, it's so hard to believe how fast she's growing! I've heard that she really likes her Jumperoo just like Austin did! I'm so excited that we get to see her in about 3 weeks! It's going to be so fun to have the whole family together for a few days! I know her Uncle will be so excited to see her!

Riding the tractor...again

As you can see, Austin had fun at his Grandpa & Grandma Ringman's house! I can't believe that he was such a good boy there! He stayed all by himself from last Monday until Friday night! I missed him so much! I think he missed me too by the way he latched on to me when I saw him Friday night! He was so spoiled while he was there! But it was a nice break for me to do some things for myself! That reminds me, I'm going for my massage on Thursday that Michael got me for Mother's Day! I'm so excited, a 60 minute massage, it can't get any better than that!

Speaking of Michael, he will be home on leave in a couple of weeks! We're so excited to see him and I can't wait for him to see how big Austin has gotten! He's going to be so surprised at what he can do now! We're planning on going to a Tiger's game and to Cedar Point while he's here. And of course, he is going to hold me together the day of Austin's surgery! I'm so nervous about it! I know that it's routine, but that's my baby!

Anyways, here's Austin and I mowing the lawn at Grandpa & Grandma Ringman's house! He's such a good helper! He'll hold onto the steering wheel with you and when you turn he just lets it slide through his hands! Doesn't he look excited! It's my favorite thing to do there...well, besides going for a ride to get ice cream...
