Austin had his appointment with the allergist yesterday. I took him because he has been making a gurgling wheezing sound lately. I have noticed it more when he drinks plain milk more than anything so I thought he might have a milk allergy. The appointment was great and the doctor was even better, I loved her. Too bad she couldn't be his regular pediatrician! To start things off she did some regular things like look in his ears and nose and listen to his breathing. After discussing that he had been sick since the beginning of March and explaining his whole ear infection scenario she determined that he doesn't just have fluid in his ears, but in fact he still has an infection in both ears still! Great! She looked me in the eye and said, "Being a pediatrician, I can't not treat this!" So she put him on two anti-biotics! She went ahead and did the allergy testing and the results showed that he had a positive reaction to both cows milk and eggs! But...there's a 50-60% chance that the test came up as a false positive (pretty big percentage don't you think!). Originally she told me to do a two week trial period with taking out everything that had milk and eggs in it! More difficult than it seems, and if it seemed to help then we'd know that he was allergic to one or both. Then she called me at home and said that while she was making her notes about Austin she started thinking that maybe the noises were being caused more by the ear infection drainage! So now I have to wait until he gets over the ear infection...is he ever?...and then do the two week trial if he's still "wheezing" after that! I'm telling you, it's one thing after another! He needs to just get better!

We get to see Baby Riley and Uncle Ben this weekend! Yipeeee!

Sorry for not keeping up with the pictures lately! I've been so busy lately it seems like I'm never going to catch up with everything! I just looked at Austin's photo albums and discovered that I hadn't even put any pictures in there for the month of March or April! Just call me a slacker! I took a few pictures today so I should have some for a while! I tried to add pictures to his albums too but something is going on with their website, it just won't let me do anything! One of these day's I'll get to it!

As I listen to Austin's Bedtime music it's putting me to sleep! Time for another short night of sleep, or at least it seems like it!

We hope Daddy's safe wherever he is! We Love You Daddy! We'll see you in a little over 3 months!

I can't believe that he has a total of 10 teeth now! It's so cute to see him smile and see all of his teeth! Now if those teeth would give him a little break so that he could sleep through the night his Mommy would be a happy camper...
