Austin did really good with the Easter Bunny this year! I thought he would cry because he had been sleeping in the car (notice the wild hair-do!) but he never did. He looked like he could have a couple times but never did! He even took a package of cookies out of the Easter Bunny's hand! He did great...I'm so proud of him!

Easter Bunny
Well...I thought we were going to see the Easter Bunny today but I didn't want to wait in a huge line! We're going to go tomorrow when hopefully there won't be as many people. We'll have time to wait tomorrow too! Look for a picture of Austin and the Easter Bunny tomorrow!
Things have been kind of crazy around here! Things are finally starting to get back to normal. It was a rough couple of weeks with Austin being sick and having our schedule interrupted! He is feeling much better but is still trying to get those two back teeth in! He's continuing to be all boy...playing rough and starting to climb things! Now if I could only get him to sleep through the night again...

Feeling better
Austin seems to be feeling better today. Although...he didn't seem to wake up on the right side of the bed, but it seems to be working itself out of his system.
I had to take him to the doctor on Saturday morning because he had a fever and couldn't hardly breathe, not to mention getting up every hour throughout the night for no apparent reason. After going to the doctors office, having a breathing treatment, finding out he had a double ear infection and having his nose swabbed for a couple of tests, I had to take him to the hospital to turn the tests into the lab and get a chest x-ray. They tested him for the flu and RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus). The RSV came back positive but his x-ray looked ok, not pneumonia yet. Therefore, he had a nebulizer (breathing treatment machine) delivered to the house Saturday afternoon to do every 4 hours and they put him on amoxicillion. He was pretty lethargic on Saturday, only wanting to snuggle and sleep, but Sunday he got up and walked around and played a little. I think he over estimated how he really felt because yesterday he pretty much slept the whole day away.
I took him back to the doctor yesterday for a recheck and things hadn't changed. I'm sure the breathing treatments are helping but it was hard to tell because he saw a different doctor than he did on Saturday. They gave him an antibiotic injection in each of his little legs to help clear the ear infections up quicker. The amoxicillion wasn't quite strong enough and doing it's job I guess! So we came home and got caught up on the sleep we've been losing!
He seems to be feeling better! He's playing this morning and actually ate something for breakfast. He hasn't hardly eaten anything since last Thursday besides a few cheerios here and there and some popsicles. He's been on a liquid diet I guess! He really seems to like the Gerber Liquidlites. Same thing as pedialite, but smells a lot nicer! I have to take him back to the doctor for another recheck next Monday unless his cough is still pretty bad tomorrow. He doesn't seem to be coughing that much anymore, his nose is just draining all of that nasty yellowish/green mucus! GROSS! I'll keep everyone updated!

Back from Kentucky
We made it back from Kentucky last night and gotten back to the regular things today. It was nice to get away from Michigan and not have to wear a coat for a couple of days! Riley is so cute and we got lots of pictures of her! Make sure to check out Austin's photo albums. I put some new pictures in Austin's February album and made Riley her own! Austin loved Riley and couldn't get enough of her! He liked to touch her and did really good holding her too! You'll see the pictures!
Lots of Love to everyone!
